Supporting youth mental health

An estimated 1.2 million children and youth in Canada are affected by mental illness—yet, less than 20 per cent will receive appropriate treatment. By age 25, approximately 20 per cent of Canadians will have developed a mental illness. It is becoming apparent that youth (and their families) are not receiving adequate support for mental health illnesses. NaOH Bar's mission is to promote mental health awareness. A portion of proceeds are donated to Youth Mental Health Canada (YMHC), a non-profit organization that aims to provide education and resources to support those impacted by mental health illness.

My honest feedback: There is a lot of detail, effort, and thought put into this not so tiny piece of soap. All of the ingredients are natural, and the result as you can see from the photo is a bar of soap that almost resembles a small piece of display art. The soap gives good lather; I used it to wash my face, and my skin was left feeling clean but not dry. It removed the oil from my face without drying it to the point where I need to apply lotion, which is great! The soap is also scentless which is a plus for those that work in offices that are scent-free.

I personally prefer more lather, but I definitely still feel clean after and there's no residue or anything. Doesn't overly dry out my skin!

The soap is so lovely! I love how my skin isn't super dry after I use it! And your packaging is soo adorable. I don't mind unscented soap, but if you are planning on having some fragranced versions in the future, that would be a wonderful bonus.
